I look for a connection with the camera when I shoot portraits. That connection is between the eyes and the lens. Eyes like these can express a great deal and make for a picture that is hard to ignore. Eyes averted can speak just as loudly and with equally intense emotion.

And then, of course, eyes on each other. What beautiful energy between two people who love each other, speaking not about what they are: a couple, but why they are a couple.
